May 26, 2012 we traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to the Gaslight House to capture the wedding of James and Tasha. After I had shot James & Tasha’s romantic portraits together I had enough time to pull off one of my Doppelgänger (as I like to call them) shots: I chose to try something very “The Godfather” inspired; this time with multiple shots of the Bride. Though there are 4 of Tasha, this photo is meant to be more groom (James) focused, masculine, mysterious and dark. This shot is very difficult to pull off in a realistic way beginning with the actual composition and then the editing which takes on average 8 hours. Yeah, 8 hours! Stay tuned for the full highlight of photographs from their day. I got the best exchange of the rings photos ever!!!! When I took them I actually giggled, lol! Sorry, but I am a nerd and it was just one of thoe moments that made me extremely happy!
